History is made at the “Mecca of College Hoops” every year!

Each season, some of the best teams in the nation visit New York City to play on The Garden’s famed hardwood. Since 1934, generations of College Basketball fans have packed "The World's Most Famous Arena." The Garden's annual lineup includes The Champions Classic, 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer,  NIT Season Tip-off, Jimmy V Classic, Maggie Dixon Classic, MSG Holiday Festival, BIG EAST Tournament and the Postseason NIT.

The list of greats who have laced up their sneakers here is virtually endless, among them: Cousy, Gola, Russell, Robertson, West, Bradley, Alcindor, Maravich, Erving, Sampson, Ewing, Jordan, Mullin, Iverson, Rose, Durant and Griffin … just to name a few.
