Welcome to radiocityauditions.com, where you can find updated information on upcoming auditions for The Radio City Christmas Spectacular and other Madison Square Garden Entertainment (MSGE) productions.

THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL AUDITIONS FOR THE 2007 PRODUCTIONS OF THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR HELD IN JULY/AUGUST IN NEW YORK CITY.

THERE WILL BE CALLS FOR ROCKETTES, MALE DANCERS AND MALE SINGERS/SINGERS WHO DANCE ONLY.

ROCKETTE REQUIREMENTS

ROCKETTES must be between 5'6" and 5'10 ½ " tall (measurements will be taken). Rockette candidates must be proficient in jazz and tap.


ENSEMBLE REQUIREMENTS

MALE DANCERS must be proficient in jazz and ballet. If you also sing, please bring sheet music to the audition.

MALE SINGERS WHO DANCE are asked to prepare an uptempo song and a ballad in their key for the audition. No recorded music is allowed. Please be prepared to dance.

MALE SINGERS **New Role for the New York Show only**: Seeking strong singers for multi-racial 6-member ensemble vocal group to debut in this season's special 75th year celebration show. Must have great voice and style with a wide vocal range, be proficient at singing close harmony and able to move well. Singers should attend the Singers/Singers Who Dance call and prepare an uptempo song and a ballad in their key for the audition. Please bring sheet music. No recorded music is allowed. Be prepared to move. If you were invited to the last callback in previous auditions, you are still under consideration and do not need to attend this audition.

Auditions for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular presented in New York City and in various cities across America (Christmas Across America -CAA) usually occur in the Spring in New York City & Los Angeles and in New York City in August. All performers must be 18 years of age (by August of current year) to be considered for casting. Radio City is committed to ethnically diverse casting for all roles. You must be a US citizen or have proof that you are currently legally able to work in the US to be considered for casting.

Contract dates for the New York show range from October to the end of December. No housing or travel is provided for performers in the New York Show. Shows outside New York in cities across America (Christmas Across America - CAA) contract dates range from early October/early November to late December, depending on the city. Travel and Housing are provided for all performers in the CAA shows. Tutoring is provided for all children. AGVA contract with competitive salaries and benefits.


LITTLE PEOPLE PERFORMERS must be under 4'10" tall, agile, move well to music, and be able to project their voice and personality. Auditioning is preferred but LITTLE PEOPLE PERFORMERS ONLY may submit a video by mail. (Send to MSG Entertainment, 1260 Avenue of the Americas, New York NY 10020, Attn: CAA Production. No video or headshot/resume submissions will be accepted for any other performers.) MSGE will be holding auditions at the National LPA convention in Seattle in July 2007. "SEARCH FOR CLARA" AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE IN TAMPA, FT. LAUDERDALE, CHICAGO AND DES MOINES, IOWA SEPTEMBER 2007.

MSGE will be holding SEARCH FOR CLARA auditions for young ballerinas who live within 1 hour of either the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center or the Broward Center in Ft. Lauderdale, the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago and the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines to perform in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular to be appearing in those cities. Dancers should be girls between the ages of 10 and 14 years of age, and must be less than 4' 11" tall. Ballet training and some experience en pointe is essential. Dancers must live within 1 hour of the Theater where the show will be performing. Winning dancers receive a weekly salary for rehearsals and performances and will need to be available most school days during the run of the show, as there are several weekday matinee performances scheduled. Professional academic tutoring and coordination with the dancers' home schools will be provided. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular will hold rehearsals in each performance city and the performances will run in November and/or December, depending on the city.

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to any of the role requirements listed on this website. If you DO NOT FIT any of these requirements, unfortunately there are no roles available for you in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
