An Evening With Daryl Hall & John Oates

December 11, 2007 — December 12, 2007 at Beacon Theatre

Home For Christmas Tour 2007

Both performances will feature a mix of Christmas music and hit songs!

From their first hit in 1974 through their heyday in the '80s, Daryl Hall and John Oates' smooth, catchy take on Philly soul brought them enormous commercial success - including six #1 singles and six platinum albums.

Hall & Oates' music was remarkably well-constructed and produced; at their best, their songs were filled with strong hooks and melodies that adhered to soul traditions without being a slave to them by incorporating elements of new wave and hard rock.

The duo — who were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2004 — recently re-released their holiday album Home for Christmas. The album includes two original songs, "Home For Christmas" and "No Child Should Ever Cry on Christmas," along with holiday classics such as "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" and "Jingle Bell Rock."
